Answer: The installation form of outdoor transformer installation: The outdoor transformer installed in the open air is also called outdoor transformer, which can be divided into installation on the platform (ground) and installation on the column (pole).

1) installed on the pole but the capacity should not exceed 315KVA; rural installation transformer is not less than 2.8 meters from the ground, urban installation transformer is not less than 3.5 meters from the ground;

2) There is no limit to the capacity of the transformer installed on the above-ground substation.

General provisions for installation of outdoor transformers:

The distance between the outer profile of (I) 10kV and below transformer and the surrounding fence or wall shall consider the convenience of transformer transportation and maintenance, and the distance shall not be less than 1m; There should be a distance of more than 2m in the direction of operation; If metal fence is used, the metal fence should be grounded, and warning signs should be hung at obvious positions;

The height of transformer pier installed on the (II) ground is generally 0.5m, and a fence of not less than 1.7m shall be installed around it, and warning signs shall be hung at obvious positions;

(III) 315kVA and below transformers can be installed on the pole. Its bottom shall not be less than 2.5m from the ground; the live part shall not be less than 3.5m from the ground;

The change table on the (IV) column shall be stable and firm. The waist rail shall be wound with Φ4.0mm galvanized iron wire for more than 4 turns and even number. The iron wire shall not have joints and shall be tightened after winding. The live part of the waist rail distance shall not be less than 0.2m;

The installation positions of the secondary fuse on the (V) column and the above-ground transformer platform shall meet the following requirements: 1) If there is an isolating switch on the secondary side, it shall be installed between the isolating switch and the low-voltage insulator, or a fuse shall be used as the isolating switch; 2) If there is no isolating switch on the secondary side, it shall be installed outside the low-voltage insulator and connected across the insulating lines at both ends of the fuse with insulating wires;

Insulated wires shall be used for all high and low voltage leads of the (VI) pole and the above-ground transformer platform; when the (VII) transformer is installed near the workshop with general dust removal exhaust outlet, the distance shall not be less than 5m;

The foundation track of the (VIII) transformer shall be horizontal, and the gauge and wheel track shall be matched. For the transformer equipped with gas relay, the top plate shall have a rising slope of 1% - 1.5 along the gas flow direction of the gas relay (except for those not required by the manufacturer), and a wheel stopper shall be installed.
