Epoxy-Resin Prepreg DMD
Key words:
Oil-Immersed Transformer Insulating Materials | Mutual Inductor Insulation Materials
Classification:
Product Description
The DMD epoxy prepreg material is composed of polyester film and polyester-fiber non-woven fabric that are combined using the F-grade heat-resistant adhesive, and then impregnated with heat-resistant epoxy resin and baked. This product boasts a smooth surface, stable performance, and superior bonding strength with copper and aluminum foils. When wrapped around copper or aluminum foils and subjected to vacuum drying, it demonstrates virtually no low-molecular-weight volatiles and possesses structural characteristics of minimal shrinkage. It serves as an ideal insulating material for the slots, turns, and layers of dry-type power transformers, reactors, and other electrical machinery.
Product Curing Conditions:
The curing procedure can be done at several temperatures: 130℃ ± 5℃ for 5 hours, 140℃ ± 5℃ for 4 hours, or 150℃ ± 5℃ for 3 hours.
Storage:
It shall be stored in a dry and clean room with a temperature not exceeding 25℃ and must be kept away from fire sources, heaters, and direct sunlight. The shelf life is 6 months, and it can still be used if it passes the inspection after exceeding the storage period
